Looking for a professional recommendation on best underlay. Laying laminate on a ground floor concrete front room and dining room and a bit overwhelmed on choice and pricing. The floor looks pretty even so am assuming a 3mm moisture proof is what I need. 5mm looks like it might be a bit thick once the floor is on as well.
Quickstep and timbermate seem to be good quality but not cheap. I've been in b&q and they have a reasonably priced damp proof 3mm one and also 3mm foil backed boards. Does anyone have any experience of those? I've previously used the green boards but feel it's too thick this time as the skirting is only about 70mm and I have to put edging on as well.
These are the b and q
