I take it that you've checked the dhw flowswitch and microswitch are operating correctly?

Yep, leaking flow switch causing switch mech to sieze up???

If you read the post.......This occurs after the boiler has shut off i.e micro switch disengaged, burner off,the residual heated water seems to boil.
I have opted for heat x,any other ideas.

I'd guess the same, considering they don't boil if the pump isn't even running, so it isn't a flow thing.
Thea GV is shutting smartly I presume, & not over gassed?

A load of trapped air in the primary side (now that the heating's not being used)..change the aav/run the heating?
