Pump flow problem?

now I am on the trail of a proper pump or the motor side that will fit onto the old pump.

The proper pump will be available as a spare part but at a high price. Better to identify make of existing pump (which is what?) and get standard pump of same make to change heads.

The boiler is a Eurocombi SX20 mffice...........Pump Gold V.

The pump casting is double depth and has a tapped thread for a bleed valve. And 1" fittings.

So it IS an Ariston (see 2nd post). Funny how we get psychic after a bit innit.
Righty hoe, you're stuffed.
It's a Wilo pump but if you take the body off (undo allen screws) you'll find that the impeller is on a longer shaft than the normal one so you can't do the transplant thing.
It's worth doing that anyway to see if the slots in the impeller are blocked(at the outer edge).
If not, but the pump still seems to be turning OK it'll be going slow. Put your revcounter - ah.
Take the capacitor off and measure its capacitance - ah.
Get a dead pump out of the van and swap the capa... - ah .

Umm, buy a new pump.

Ordered new pump.
