Pump not stopping when hot water heating turned off.

I've come back from a three week holiday and turned the hot water on and when I switched it off the pump will not stop. I turned it off at the wall, when I swich it on again it starts even though the hot water system is not on.

Is it a problem with the pump?

I have a Worcester 14/19CBI boiler.

Sounds like the micro switch has stuck in the heating valve.
