Pyronix Sterling 10 Backup battery query

Hi, this is my 1st post so be gentle!

We have a Pyronix Sterling 10 home alarm.

We had another power cut this weekend and instead of the alarm making a beep every few seconds (inside) the main alarm outside was going off instead!

Turns out the backup battery is dead. We've had the alarm around 5 years with no problems. Anyway what I need to know is where do I get a replacement from and could I install it myself or would I need an expert to do it?

The user manual I have mentions nothing about replacing the battery and I can't find anything on the internet to help.

Any help woud be greatly appreciated.

Get the big 7 amp from Maplins (or as big as they've got). Simple change over. No need for anyone else.

You should see if you have a screwfix nearby since they are cheaper.
