Hi, i have read the forum about testing the pump to see if the shaft is spinning by removing the silver screw on the pump.My question is if you remove the screw does water come out continuosly if so will you be able to see shaft spin if water is coming out.ive also read that a small screwdriver can be inserted to check shaft is spinning , is this safe to do so ?
Thanks

when you remove the screw you get a dribble of water (hopefully)
you can usually see if the shaft is spinning

you use the screwdriver if its not spinning or you will likley lose the tip

bear in mind if the boiler is running the water will be hot :D
