My grass is muddy and sodden so i have decided its cheaper and easier to build a deck on it. So its a ground level deck. The dimensions are 6050x3050.
Planning on putting in 15 of 100x100 posts postcreted in.
1. Is this overkill putting 15 posts in?
2. How do i minimise wood rot in the posts?
The longest joist's i can see is 4800.
3. How do i get the 6050 length without having any weak points?
I have calculated the spacing between joists to be roughly 380mm. This is to fit 8 joists in.
Any help would be much appreciated. Never done a deck before lol (Done lots of fences!)
