I'm going to be installing a range cooker in a chimney breast and was wondering how much space there should be between the cooker and the walls of the chimney breast. I'm planning on rendering or tiling the inner walls of the chimney breast so they'll be non-combustible.
I've tried getting some info from range cooker user manuals online but only rangemaster specify a minimum dimension (of 25mm) between cooker and walls. Would this dimension be a 'standard' dimension or would different manufacturers require more clearance?

Many thanks.
