ravenheat boiler problem hmmm

we had a boiler break down 13 months ago
replaced it ..
got a ravenheat boiler and it keeps going cold then warm and cold then warm but its not always its now and again some days more than others
the boiler totaly failed a few weeks after instalation and somebody from ravenheat came up to repace the electronics board thing but if anybody can help would be apprectiated dont fancy paying for a new boiler

Which model? Sounds like a Little Star!

I dont see what your problem is.

The boiler was installed and you have at least 12 months guarantee on it.

Properly installed it should give you at least 10 years service.

Going "hot and cold" can be caused by dirt in the plate heat exchanger if the installer did not power flush the system properly when he fitted the boiler.

I would say stick a new CH thermistor in before you start playing about with the plate heat exchanger. Again these are screwed up by the system not being flushed properly. As stated get Ravenheat to do it while it is under guarantee but they will tell you to get the system flushed anyway

its a white star

White star is B&Q version of Little Star, LS80 or LS100. Very cheaply made (in Italy) but most components are the same as many other combis.
