The problem seems to be getting worse and the radiators closest to the boiler are warming/heating up when I run the hot tap for the bath I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

You dont bother to say which ravenheat boiler you have!
Probably an aging one!
The manifold section of the diverter valve is probably jammed.
We would be replacing it although its a knuckle scraping job. We would be charging about £168.
