I recently had a problem with an RBL digital burner cutting out. I made a temporary replacement with a different control box and light sensor.
After a few weeks it stopped running, so in desparation I put the old digital box back on!
To my amazement everything works just great again!
What happened?

After a few lockouts the digi boxes can lock out and refuse to work.

Removing them for a few hours re boots them.....(Although there is nothing in the literature to suggest this).
From memory it just says to turn off for a few minutes...…..which has no effect.
I suspect there is a capacitor that takes a long time to discharge in order to reset.

Its gone back to its old ways again, these digital boxes are a big leap backwards (of intermittent lockouts)!
