my current microwave is about 5 years old and is a really nice unit apart from the fact that the white paint is peeling off the inside (around where the glass stand sits in the bottom) this is causing the glass to jump every now and again

i have looked around and can't see any replacement microwave that i like, and wondered about repainting the inside with white appliance paint - only thing is, i went and looked in b&q at the weekend and the appliance paint aerosols sepcifically state not for use on the interiors of microwaves - can anyone advise why this is? and also, if there is an appropriate paint that i could use? or if there is any other reason why the glass turntable is jumping?

thanks
