I've heard that crosswater taps are extremely good quality taps but they seem expensive too.

What brand of mixer taps would you recommend at what rough price?

Are they all pop up waste or lever waste?

Thanks for any advice and help you can give

They are not all pop up and even if it was you don't have to fit it as a pop up.

The prices can go from anything from £60 to a few hundred.
But try to stick with a well known branded make for quality and spares.

Thanks.

When you say well known brand so that I can get spares.... which brands would you suggest?

I'd like a waste where there's a lever on the back of the tap OR one you push down and it pops up OR one you spin over for it to empty. Not sure what each are called.

Crosswater
Bristan
Ideal standard
Deva
Grohe

The list go's on depends what you want to pay.
Wastes you got the clicker which you push manually, The flip top (coin),
pop up with the lever on the mixer.
