My ridge tiles are being rebedded and pointed tomorrow Wednesday 1st Nov.
3.1 mix. However, I'm a bit concerned as the early hours of Thursday morning the forecast states heavy rain. My question will the new mortar withstand the rain and wind? Even though it will only be around 7 hours drying.
Thanks

Don't the good bricky’s keep the mortar covered to prevent rain washing it out, especially on a ridge. Share your concerns with him, if he is happy to go ahead it is his risk not yours, but as customer you can say no.

The only reason to go ahead with that work in the next few days is if the Ridge is already off.
