I'm looking to add a rf thermostat onto a gravity CH system. There is an existing (and very old) Danfoss Randall 3060 which is working ok.
Ideally the thermostat should be simple to use (its for my mother and she is 75 and technology terrified) and reliable. Are there any to avoid?
Would I be better off looking to replace the 3060 for a combined timer/thermostat? RF is a must, as it is not practical to run cables into the living room for the thermostat.

75 as gordon says keep away from programmable ones get a straight forward rf roomstat . honeywell do one with a wheel and indicator lamp to adust temp and indicate when its on which are both ideal for pensioner. cost about £70
