Perhaps naively, I used some Reisser screws to attach cladding to a shed and for some fence panels. I used them as they were advertised as having "approximately 20 times improved rust resistance than standard BZP screws".

With a few months many of the screws started to rust. And a few of the smaller screws (3 x 30mm) were so badly rusted I could hardly get them out.

Has anyone esle had similar problems?

The problem is, standard bzp screws aren't that rust resistant in the first place. Should've used galvanised nails really, for cladding.
If you have trouble getting out a 30mm screw then you are probably using the wrong driver bit. Or your drills battery needs replacing.
