The electrics to the garage also run the pond pump, waterfall and uv pond light.
I don't mind them being there but they leave their litter and condoms on the floor.
The flood light that I have in on a pole on top of the garage, about 4 metres high in total.
I did have a wickes unit that I could turn on and off from the house but it didn't last long, but it did work well as I could turn it on and off every 10 seconds. That made them go away.
