The guy did a survey of the house, took about 30 mins and he seemed clued up.
* I pulled up some boards for him upstairs
* Looked in the loft to see the loading up their and I have another doc with the Calcs on it.
So I am confident that he knows his stuff.
I guess my concern would be the Party wall now.
1# that the next door builders RSJ will step into my space of the Party wall giving me less room to sit mine (can I grind theirs down for instance - or Weld it). I guess you can't tell until you start smashing stuff up!
2# 2x RSJ's sitting at the same point either side. I'm guessing the Party walls are 'Seperate' so this should not worry me...
But...... The house seems quite big, I don't want to falling on me in the middle of Eastenders.
