Hi

Different question.
I'm installing a Honeywell CMT927 in place of my existing wired set up and need to remove the electro mechanical timer from my baxi duotec.

Can I just disconnect the wires at the clock end or do I need to remove the cover that protects the PCB board and remove the terminals at their destintation?

Any help greatly appreciated

if you have 4 wires going from PCB to Clock....

one of them is a Live, one of them is a Neutral, and the other two are "switch" wires.

leave clock in boiler, unless you have a blanking plate to fit in its place

personally i would remove the above 4 wires from PCB, and rewire from pcb to the prog roomstats receiver

Just leave it in place and on constant and your honeywell will do the switching on and off etc
