Renualt megane EXPRESSION 1.6 Front Wipers not working

Hi all

The front wipers are not working at all there has been no issue with these in the past, the back wipers work fine and water seems to come from the front jets so it seems the stick should be ok. i have checked the fuse and that seems ok too has anyone got an indication of what to try next please im not to car literate but im not affraid to have a go

The car i have is as follows:

Renault Megane Expression 1.6 Its (5 or 6 years old)
Miles on clock 35000
Owned car for 2 years
