Hello,
I currently have an unvented S-plan system with Rayburn gas boiler (GD80/380G - 24KW/h) and Megaflo hot water cylinder. This all works great but we are thinking of removing the Rayburn and replacing with a different boiler.
Currently there is an external pump and as the Rayburn boiler has overrun, a bypass valve on the primary circuit. All the system boilers I have looked at so far (Baxi, Glo-worm) have boilers with integrated pumps.
Am I right in thinking I should be looking at a system boiler and not a heat-only boiler? If so are there any without integral pumps?
I would be very grateful for any advice on this, and any recommendations as there are very many options.
Many thanks indeed.
