Hi there,
I’m in the middle of replacing my old electric ceramic hob that is old and damaged, the electric is its own dedicated run from the consumer unit to a box on the wall then into the old hob (30amp fuse)
the old hob simply has 3 terminals marked live, neutral and earth as I’d expected
however the new hob has 6 terminals marked 1 to 5 and a PE. it comes with several jumpers and just wanted to check the wiring with you
as per the image, am I supposed to be wiring the live to terminal 1 with a jumper linking 1 & 2, and wiring the neutral to terminal 4 with a jumper linking 4 & 5, then earth to PE?
I was hoping it would just be identical to the old one
any advice massively appreciated
Thank you
Phil
