Replacing pollen filter on peugeot 307 2.0 hdi

Hi,

I'm having trouble finding/replacing my pollen filter, someone mentioned it is on the bulkhead behind the engine but i can't get behind the engine without removing a piece that fits across the bottom of the wind screen. Is this what i have to do?

Please explain in layman's terms

usually yes,its covered by the plastic shield that runs below the windscreen

There may be some clips a bit like the "screw 90 degress and lift" ones you get on the fuse covers in cars. Otherwise the front edge of the plastic may curl over the lip at the front (front is front of car) and hook under the metal edge.

Best bet is to try and lift the plastic carefully and see where it is restricted from being removed.
