Just moved into a new house with a Saunier Duval F 23 E combi boiler installed. Bathroom radiator was half full with air so partially bled it then went to repressurise. I've done this before with other boilers but can't figure this one out! Here is a pic of the filling loop:

I've tried opening the left value and the filling loop fills & goes stiff, but as I gently open the right hand valve with a spanner I just get dirty (presumably CH) water dripping out from the valve so don't have the courage to turn it further. Needless to say, no movement in pressure guage.

Am I being really stupid here...? Thanks.

You don't need to touch the nut end. Hose blocked. Unscrew from that nut valve end, look down the pipe and turn the other one on full bore. [/youtube]
