The British Workers Party sounds like a throwback to the old Communist political parties of the 30s, with a distinctly white electorate voting against the economic policies of the Tories in the North.

20 odd per cent turn suggest anger and apathy were the main winners. Don't get why people don't vote given the times which we live in, its not as if there' a lack of variety among the candidates. Time for PR.
