Hi All
I’ve had a Rock door Ultimate as my front door for about 5 years, and it’s been faultless up until the last few weeks. Normally, when you push the door closed, it glides into the latch with a really smooth action like a rifle bolt, but no it just bounces of the latch and will only close if you pull down the handle a bit to assist it.
I checked all the adjustments on the hinges and made sure the gaps were even all round the door, and adjusted the latch slightly and managed to get it to close nicely again. However, after a couple of days, it’s back to the same problem.
It’s quite frustrating because it was an expensive door, and nothing I seem to do makes any difference. All the mechanisms are free and the door hasn’t been damaged in any way. Has anyone come across this issue before with a Rock door, or just any composite/UPVC door?
