Hi

Had a new bathroom fitted a year or so ago. We have a back to the wall pan with concealed cistern. The plumber screwed the pan to my tiled floor (travertine), but last night my wife used the loo and there was a grinding sound, when I checked, the pan has moved slightly, and I was able to move it out from the tiled wall behind by about 1cm (on left hand side only). I tightened up the screw on that side, and whilst it's better, there is still movement of about 1mm or 2.

Can anyone offer any advice? I thought of running a bead of silicone around the base?

Thanks

Dave

Silicone will only come loose, you need to rectify why the screw won't tighten fully, maybe the hole it is screwed into is too big and the plug hasn't held and come loose.
