Hi All,
New to these forums, but they seem like a good resource for a DIY novice like myself!
Anyway, my question is about fitting new bath taps with shower attachment onto an old cast iron roll top bath.
The current taps in the roll top bath come from within the bath, so i will block these holes up. The problem being the bath has a rolled top (obviously!) and the taps need top fix to a flat surface, as it seems modern roll tops have a flat area for fixing the taps.
So is it a case of of saying this wont work? or can i drill holes for the new taps and use some kind of washer to make a flat surface?
Any help, ideas, tips would be appreciated!
Thanks
Matt
