Round window 1m gable end wall

I want to put a round window in our gable end wall about a 1m diameter.

Brickies are close to bottom course and I don't have the frame yet. How do I knock up a template for them? I gather as much load isn't going as the roof up already its just a matter of bricking it round which I know Will take a bit longer, estimate a days extra work?

Any thoughts or consideration appreciated

There are semi-circular lintels that are off the shelf. In a cavity wall construction that is the way I'd go else you risk running into issues with building control (structural safety and cavity trays). Then you can just cut plywood to mirror the top half.

IIRC, for the past few millenia, we've used timber arch centres for the top semi circle, and trammels for the bottom semi circle.

And if "the brickies" don't know that, and can't knock something up, then they ain't brickies.
