I want to knock through from lounge to the dining room, with an RSJ support. There are six foot radiators each side of the wall....I'm informed that it's not a supporting wall, but am worried about selling in the future. Do I need to have inspections before and after?..if so who do I approach and how long would this take to inspect etc?
Any help would be grateful.

sometimes internal walls (loadbearing or otherwise ) can act as lateral restraints to help prevent adjascant walls from spreading.
