Hi - first post here. Have tried reading for an answer but not got anywhere - heres hoping someone can kindly help with my problem...
We have an Ideal MinimiserSE boiler which has started to play up. I will try and describe the problem as best I can.
In essence when the heating and or hot water are switched off the pump and boiler continue to run. The electronic valves by the hot water tank (2 of them 2 position) appear to be working correctly and diverting the water in accordance with what is being requested- therefore when the heating and or water is turned off the water boils and boiler then trips out - however the pump and boiler continue to run with no heat.
The only way I have found that I can get the pump and boiler to switch off is to turn both heating and hw off at the same time. This works about 80% of the time.
I am sure there will be many things I should have put in this post that will make diagnosis easier - please excuse me if I have missed out the obvious things.
