Although a problem for the 'lady of the house!' It appears the crockery seems to have salt on it and I can't figure out what is causing it!

The cap for the salt resevoir is secure and has a seal. How come the contamination? Maybe we have a Dish Washer Engineer on the forum
to advise!

Thanks
Alan

Hi,

The model is a Hoover 'Crystal Jet'

The Salt Container is seperate. There is a seperate Soap Dispenser and Wash Aid.

Thanks

But do you use 3 in 1 tablets and fill the salt pot up as well.

The stuff used is a tablet called 'Max in 1' Power tabs made by Finish.

Despite there being a salt solution in this tablet, my wife assures me that without the Salt addative being added, glassware turns milky.

Thanks
Alan

are you sure it is salt? have you licked it?

how often (how many washes) do you have to refill the salt container?

Definately tastes of salt! Requires top up evey 2 weeks??

Wife is wondering if a salt granule got trapped under filler cap!

She is going to re-run to test.

Don't use both, you said it requires top up every 2 weeks let it completely run out. Then make sure water in salt pot is not a salty taste you have been over dosing with it using the tabs and salt.
