My Santon Premier unvented hot water tank keeps discharging hot water out of the Temperature relief valve, is this the valve that is faulty. The water is about a normal temperature and not excessivley hot.

It doesn't mean it's faulty, expansion vessel must be checked first.
Is that something I could do or is that a plumber only.
Its a job for a plumber who has a "G3" ticket enabelling him to work on these legally.
Its not a diy job because if everything needs to be recommisioned properly.
If these cylinders are faulty they have the potential to destroy houses.
Dont panick they have plenty of safty devices on them,and a qualified plumber will check all these whilst repairing for you!

As an addendum, this would only happen in a poorly installed system, as all safety devices work to failure, then open. If there is a blockage in any of the safety pipework, then it's possible. Not normally otherwise.
