Hi

I'm hoping for a bit of help, I'm trying to add a pir to my system that uses eol and I don't really understand the requirements even after reading the manual!

I'm replacing a simple door contact with a pir, could someone advise how this needs to be wired please?

I'd also like to be able to change the hall pir to be a entry exit, as often I set the system at night and forget to turn it off before going downstairs and setting it off!

Thanks

Take out the resistors from the contact the one with 3 red bands 2.2 is end of line the other with a purple and yellow band is the alarm resistor , twist one side of each resistor together and connect to one side of e alarm pair in the pir, the other side of the red banded resistor goes to one of the tamper terminals, you then put one leg of your alarm cable pair into the spare tamper terminal in the pir leaving your other alarm pair to go into the other alarm terminal in your detector with the other resistor leg ok

As for the Entry/Exit in the hall, do you use the B level at night? If so, leave the Hall as an Entry Route and program Entry Routes to be Final Exits in the B level - I can't remember the command number off the top of my head (I'm on holiday at the moment) but I think it's sixty-something... ER=FE ;)

Apologies for the delay in replying, I've been head scratching over this and realised that my detectors are wired fsl not eol, sorry but could I have some guidance on how to wire these?

Thanks again
