Sealing interior stone wall

I'm new here

Done a search and can't find any ref to this.

I have an exposed interior stone wall that is forever dropping dust and making a mess of the attic. I've been to Homebase and B&Q and can't find any products available to do what a need - simply and interior stonewall sealant that bothe rpotects and stops dust. When i ask the assistants they just look at me gone out (nothing new there then).

Can anyone help?!?!

would it not be a case of no matter what you apply it wont stick becasue if it is falling dust then what ever you choose will stick to the dust and fall off as more dust
