Seams in granite -what to use ?

Hi all just fitted my first granite countertops for myself , have cut two straight cuts for the gas hob and have cut two filler bars for front and back all looks well so far ,I polished a slight bevel on the joints to take black silicon but I now thinking of doweling the filler bars and using some kind of resin I can polish flat with the granite so end results show near invisible joins , any idea on the product I need ie epoxy , the granite is Italian galaxy black 30mm, it cut ok and polishes great so if it's not a complete nightmare I'd rather spend the extra time using a resin, have just moved in here a few weeks ago kitchen is nearly finished so need to get this done sooner rather than later ,I'm sick of living on takeaways

There seem to be epoxy fillers available on US web sites, such as the "Chip and Fill Kit" shown on this page http://www.bonstone.com/applications/repair.htm . Might be worth contacting them to see if there's a UK outlet.
