I need to send a video clip for an insurance claim via email.

But it's too big to send.

Is there a way to reduce it in size so that I can send?

https://wetransfer.com/ has a free section.
It is also safe and secure.
And deletes the file after a few days.
And tells you when it is downloaded (or at least if it is not downloaded).

Upload your file onto WeTransfer and tell WeTransfer you are sending the file to yourself (back to your own email address, or to a second email address if you have one).

WeTransfer wil then send you a html link (a web link) and a password. Copy and paste these into your email that you are sending to the insurance company.

The insurance company then click on the web link and download your file.

With the free WeTransfer, the file is deleted from the WeTransfer system after a few days, but I see this as being useful.

Bod,
The "similar threads" currently show you also asked this last year - and there were other suggestions that might also work for you >>>>>

Short memory stick

I was recovering from Pneumonia while I had Jaundice. I did have rather a lot on my mind then.

But thank you for taking the time to reply. I'll give it a go

Stick it on Google Cloud and change the rights so that anyone with a link can view/download and then add the link in your email.
You get 15GB for free.
