I have just bought a Potterton EP2 electric programmer to replace an older Potterton one, i want the timer to come on and off three times during the day but i cannot get the first time set to go on past 9.30am, any one offer any help please??

Because the second timeset is at 9.30am. Simples

You cannot set the first on time to later than the default 1st off time (which is 9.30) Change the first off time first.
