Shaver sockets

is it possible to fit a shaver socket into a 35mm deep box? unfortunately i didnt realise that i should have fitted a 47mm box (b and q dont seem to sell these)

if not i guess i will have to try and get the box out and chip more brick work away without damaging the rest of the bathroom.

You might get away with it, if your tiling the wall which will give another 6-10mm.

Otherwise, no 35mm isn't deep enough for any shaver sockets I've seen.

no chance then as the box was flush with the tiles.

got the box out, will drill the wall and start chipping carefully tonight

You know that you shouldn't do this anyway, it can look a right mess if the plate won't go right back to the tile.
