I didn't find the title ironic, just misleading.

Instead of sarcastically posting the meaning for ironic, look up the word 'confusing'.(y)

A better ironic title would have read 'what a lousy singer ......etc'.

That would have been great but I'm being ironic I mean crap.

I believe the irony is that the judges couldn't believe it was her, they didn't think she could be that good. But she was.
If you turn the captions on (subtitles) they think it's a recording that's why they insist she sing acapella.
The title was deliberately misleading because I felt it would be more entertaining. I hadn't bargained for the public sector employee mentality clustering up the thread and couldn't be bothered with it.
