I know theres lots of posts on this already but here goes.....
I have a shed in my back garden about 15m from the house. I'd like to put a flourescent light and double socket in there. The fuseboard is at the front of the house with no easy way to run a new cable through. Can I take a spur off the kitchen circuit? If I run armour cable, how deep should it be buried and can it be buried straight into the ground?
Last question! When I reach the shed whats the best arrangement to split between sockets and light?
Thanks in advance.
Dave.

dave, you can do as you say, run a fused spur, just remember, theres no point having armoured cable if you're not going to earth the armour. Use the right glands. ;)
