OPen the radiator vaves - see ref section on sticking trv's. Also may need bleeding?

Now how can you be so sure that both rad valves are working and open ???

I would say that at least one is still closed !!!

If the pipework to your radiators are hot, but the rads are not then the likely causes of the problem are:-

  • One or more valves shut
Rads full of air and need bleeding
Rads full of sludge and need flushing

But if you want the job done properly, Dave from Hinkley is your man :)

no air in rads
may be sludge as the water around the trv pins was black
what do you reckon is that normal?
