I have 6mm cable running to my shower,approx 10m cable run.I have a 45amp MCB unsure about a RCD.Will this cable size be large enough for a 9.5kw shower.Would appreciate your comments. thanks

Your shower will draw around 40A, so it depends on where and how the cable has been run.
For example, PVC sheathed 6mm² T&E cable in conduit in thermal insulation can only [safely] carry 32A, and in that case you'd need to use 10mm² cable.
