Shower pull switch

Ok I have an old Contactum 45amp pull switch in the bathroom to isolate the shower and it has now given up the ghost but I have just received a 50amp Contactum pull switch that is exactly the same apart from the rating. My question is would this be ok to use for the same purpose, my shower is 9.5kw.

Yes - the 50A is the MAXIMUM current it can handle.
