Hi,

I am having a new shower tray fitted and would like some advice on a waste for the tray. I am thinking of buying one of these:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/90mm-MEGAFLOW...ryZ57212QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

The description says the hole in the tray should be 80-90mm. My shower tray is one of these:

http://www.capitalbathrooms.com/pro...800_Rectangular_Stone_Shower_Tray-863-62.html

The description says the tray has a standard 3/4inch waste hole, which I presume is meant to say 3 3/4 inch

Do different trays have different size waste holes, and when they quote 3 3/4 or 80-90mm do they mean the actual physical hole because the hole is actually approx 50mm or the indentation that the waste can actually sit in.

Any advice much appreciated because I don't want to order a waste only to find it does not fit.

cheers

Phil

After a bit of research it looks like some trays do actually have 90mm holes, so i presume the fast flow wastes are not suitable for my tray

Can anyone tell me what the standard size hole is for a shower tray, so hopefully there are only 2 sizes of shower tray waste holes.

I didn't realise it would be this complicated just to get a shower tray waste.
