Hi,
I fitted a shower trap that came with my low profile tray but when used the tray simply filled with water. I have plenty of space under the tray so am going to fit a normal P trap with a chrome waset that screws down onto it.
The problem I have found is the differerence in flange sizes of the wastes. I have already ordered this product:
http://www.trueshopping.co.uk/produ...with_easy_clean_lift_out_grid./522/37925.html
But on measuring the hole where the waste sits it seems the hole is 70mm, and i've worked out that 2 7/8 inches is 73mm. Will I still be able to fit this waste, perhaps by using silicon sealent to fill the void or is best to buy this product:

Why are manufacturers making shower trays with a difference of 3mm in flange sizes for the wastes ??
