In my time I have used many different makes of silicone from No Nonsense Screwfix brand to Aldi Superbuys.
I resealed a shower tray yesterday and used Mid Modulus White Silicone sealant from Toolstation. It was rubbish.
What is the best Silicone Sealant to use?

and before using, ensuring the surfaces are absolutely clean and dry.
If smoothing etc. is required, use of the proper tools and doing so quickly (within 1 or 2 minutes of application) is also essential.
I removed all old silicone used proper wipes to clean and dry the area thoroughly.
I even bought a new spreading tool from Toolstation.
I wasn't happy with the results on the outside of the shower door the sealant I used seemed too thin and opaque. I've heard of the one you have suggested might give that one a try.
Micromax2 Sealant stayed white and didn't rot for me in my last place. Was a poorly installed window ledge that didn't drain and caused a leak but no more issues after using that. Dow Corning is great stuff as well.
