Hi ch works fine but i can only get the boiler to fire up for hot water when taps are on full blast, hence the water is only luke warm. any help appreciated !
I have to say that I find repairing the diverter on that model decidedly unfriendly as its tucked in at the back in a most unfriendly way!
We normally charge £96 for that job on more friendly boilers but if we remember we increase it to £106 on that one.
One Friendly we did, after sorting the diaphragm, found the bottom part of the valve stuck from many months of resting but had to sort that out as well as we do everything on a fixed price basis.
I don't know that particular boiler, but if the diverter valve is as difficult to get at as on the Ravenheat 820, then I am utterly wrong to say it's easy. In my defence I did say "generally easy" meaning on most combis.
It is recommended that the whole diverter valve is changed, a diaphragm is only part of the valve.
A skilled engineer should be able to change the valve in about 40 min, no special tools are required.
part number 6102802.
