My Sime super 90 was serviced in Dec 2007 and working ok.
Now it is very slow to fire up when hot taps are turned on. Pilot comes on immediately but it ticks for sometimes over a minute before the burners ignite. Once alight the boiler is fine. With heating on the hot water is instant.
My service man is unfamiliar with the Sime so I may have to call an expert.
I don't want to be talked into replacing it yet as it's only about nine years old but also don't want to spend a fortune on it.
Any clues as to cost of repair would be helpful.
