simple few questions for everyone!

hey people,

reading this site for a while for tips, basically im a 17 year old apprentice sparks and i no this sounds stupid but i thought i could get some advice without sounding like a right pillock to my boss can someone please explain....

1) what is this purpose of a JB is ( i do know how to wire it lol)
2)what is the purpose of a transformer?
3)what is a fuse spur? what connection does it have on a circuit? how do fit in a circuit?

dont they teach you at college?

1) answered your own question
2) to change ac voltage (since you can get step up or step down)
3) Does not exist, I think you mean a fused connection unit

The guy training you will be happy to answer any questions. Seriously, if i had an apprentice i wouldnt want a guy/girl who stood their saying nothing at all as id think he/she wasnt bothered. As long as the answers you boss gives you sink in then theyll be glad you asked
